Children become future CEO’s at our annual Macaroni KID Children’s Business Fair where young children turned their ideas into reality. Held in November at the Heritage Museum of Orange County, the event showcased over 40 booths run entirely by children aged 6 to 16.
From handmade jewelry and crochet animals to homemade chess sets and digital art, the fair was a vibrant marketplace of creativity. Each participant was responsible for developing a product or service, creating a brand, building a booth, and engaging with customers—many of them for the very first time.
One such kidpreneur, if you will, was high schooler Leonardo Lin. Leonardo Lin is a high school freshman who has loved the ocean his entire life. He is a NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association) Youth Ambassador and hopes to create global awareness and impact on ocean conservation. In his free time, he loves to study the local tide pools, volunteer at beach cleanups, and sell award-winning books at fairs and booktalks. He would like to donate all profit from the books to support marine conservation efforts. Please contact worldofsharksbook@gmail.com for more information.
